Central Oregon Real Estate Statistics | 1st Quarter, 2022

Below, you can view the COAR real estate statistics for each area in Central Oregon for the 1st quarter of 2022. Take note of the slight increase in days on the market for Deschutes County single family residences under an acre, going from 20 in Q1 of 2021 to 26 in Q1 of 2022. In addition to this, if you look back at the Q4 statistics we posted a few months ago, you’ll see that the average days on the market for the same category was 16. The average sale amount in the same category increased 9.8% from Q4 of 2021 to Q1 of 2022.  If we continue to see the average days on the market increase, that could translate to increased inventory and a deceleration in the increasing rate of average sale amount. As many of you know, interest rates have been increasing and we will start to see the affect of this on the local real estate market in Q2.

We’ll keep you posted when the Q2 stats for 2022 come in, allowing you to make the most up-to-date and informed real estate decisions.
