If you’re a pilot, Sunriver is a fantastic place own a second home. Sunriver Airport is a busy, privately owned, regional airport on the southwest end of Sunriver. When you land, you’ll be just minutes away from Sunriver Resort, Caldera Springs, Crosswater, Vandervert Ranch and the wonderful recreation Sunriver and Central Oregon have to offer. This includes several world class golf courses, mountain biking, hiking, paddle boarding, skiing and so much more. There are even hanger houses that come available from time to time where you can taxi straight into your vacation home! The airport can accommodate small engine piston aircraft up to a Bombardier Global Express. The runway was completely rebuilt in 2009 and new taxiways were built in 2019.
